I didn't get all of your post, and was wondering what you meant by "big
joke!"  Do you mean that this is a "routine" problem that can be expected?
If so, I'm glad to know that I didn't cause it.  I'd still like to know,
though if I can have my remote lock put back, or if I should just forget
about that.

I'm pretty sure that it's being fixed properly - parts and wires are being
replaced.  He's had it for a few weeks.  Every time I take my Westy to
Bela, it's for a problem that he himself has to fix, which he does when he
has the time.  The last I heard, it was all fixed except for the driver door
- the most important one!
