I suppose that could be true about a 1.9. it sure seems to me though .. if it's designed and built to have idle switch contact at zero throttle.. that's how we should repair and adjust them.

it would be nice to see if injector signal is cut off at zero throttle above whatever the rpm is for that .. would be interesting to see , then see if no idle switch contact keeps that feature from working. I suppose I'd rig a 5th injector wire connector, and put a noid light in it, and put it where I could watch it in the rear view mirror. somebody want to try that ? is there anything wrong with connecting in parallel with one injector plug and running a noid light off it ? doesn't seem quite right ..but the ecu might not mind .. though would that injector fire normally then ? or name some other *direct* easy way to see when the injectors are not fired during decel .. and do it while driving.
