Hey all, I too did a temporary patch on some of that white plastic tankage that comes with our vans. I patched the coolant overflow tank on my inline gas motored van using WEST System Epoxy. Did that about a year ago and it works just fine...I understand the diesel-style overflow tanks are NLA...? Anyhow, mine had a leak that was causing me to add coolant often and when I had the motor out, I patched the overflow tank using WEST System marine epoxy that I had in my boat shop, thinking it might even hold...it is. I roughed-up the surface and cleaned it well with Acetone before putting some thickened epoxy with about an inch of overlap all around the leaking seam area.
