Those were also called "Brodie Knobs"....Brodies are now called 'drifting'...when you hang the rear end of a vehicle waaay out there in a turn..Brodie knobs were used to spin donuts. My favorite was on my 56 Chevy...had a neckid lady inside it's Lucite....sparkles, too. Way cool.
