There is a useful modification that can be done with a piece of hardwood dowel, a rubber door banger preventer, and a little time that will make your table stable and usefully adjustable in the vertical direction .

Essentially you install the dowel with a double ended screw into the floor passing through the bumper so that the table tube fits over the dowel and rests on the bumper.
