John,

I can help but you will need to do some electronic assembly.

If you know how much current the light draws then I can calculate the correct size power resistor you can put in series.

Or I can draw a simple regulator schematic you can build with a LM317 regulator.

All depends on how good you are with electronic assembly and soldering.

Hi All,

I have 4ea. 4.5v LED Wally head lamp lights that I would like to use as porch lights on my Pop Top.

*http://tinyurl.com/4b6cgcj* 2 on each side of the top. I would also like to run them independently at times.

Is there a way to modify the 12v's from the cars system to run these?

Would I need a separate power supply? Or is it possible to just integrate a resistor?

And to perplex the situation ;o) Is there a 12v motion detector that can be wired in.

I see Wally has a portable motion detector alarm, for hotel door knobs. Perhaps it could be modified to work in conjunction with the switched lights as well?

Thanks John
