Subject: Audi RIms & Heater Fan
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

Well, the Audi rims were turning out to be just too much of a pain, so I took the easy way out and bought some VW alloys. I had those on my last Westy with Continental Vanco 8's and it was a very good combination. A couple of weeks ago I did the Karl Mullendore trick of lubing the squeaky front fan. It worked for a little while. Yesterday the damn fan just locked up. Turning it on caused the rear fan to slow down a bit, and about the 4th time I turned it on/off it popped the fuse. It has locked up before but would usually start working again. The hell of it is, it's too cold to get out there and mess with it today, and I'm just not ready to pull the dash to replace the fan-ironically that will have to wait for warmer weather.
