Hi Jeff,

I had this happen last fall... When the weather got colder I put a pair of PC 12V exhaust fans on the dash positioning each of them over top of the blower vents. This is sufficient to clear the windshield, though it does NOTHING to keep your feet warm.

A year later I still haven't had the motivation to pull the dash apart. It's not the prettiest fix I've ever implemented, but it does work pretty well. And when it's warm enough to work outside, I don't mind not having a defroster...
