I have a Westy and a DoKa. They're both V'gon based, and might even be V'gons. I used to have a bus; actually, I've had two; a '62 and an '84. The '84 was a V'gon, too (sorry, Scott).
I"ve had folks from the East (US) call them all trucks. My cousin in ID calls the Westy a "rig". I tend to call the DoKa a truck when not around VW folk, and if I don't feel like explaining it (the plate is DOKA, so I get asked anyway). When talking to family, I call the Westy a van (like calling the DoKa a truck, it's easier).
I've never gotten into the T designations - don't even know which is which (don't tell me, I don't much care and won't remember). People who do (you know who you are and I love all of you) are the same folks who rattle off all of their lens' technical specifications but can't take a decent photo.
Ah well, that's all from here. If I've offended anyone, sorry.
