That's terrible! Only 450,000 miles and plastic parts are falling apart?! Yikes! Those VW guys need to be flogged. That's like a 4.5 lifetimes for many other makes of vehicles. VW Classic Parts is starting to reproduce some of these and making them available via your VW dealer. Here's hoping they make these items again since many of you seem to be breaking them.
