This is quick and dirty because I don't have time to trace it out - but wipers, heater blower and rear defogger are all powered by the load reduction relay (small relay, might have 24 on it? - first page of Bentley wiring section for your year will show location and designation) which is driven, along with the headlights, by the ignition switch X terminal. So if the X terminal is bad, none of them will work right. If the relay is having problems, wipers/blower/defog won't work. One assumes that you've checked the relevant fuse? That's as far as I can go without looking at the diagram. d |
