I'm going by body shape and the classic 'VW Bus' name.. I think that's the official model name of older buses. so I can only call an Air-Cooled Vanagon just that. the term 'Bus' has to do with the shape in my mind. It's insulting almost to call a Vanagon a Bus I think. 'gotta change the oil in my bus' .. pre-vanagon to me baby ! no one has ever contacted me to work on their 'bus' and it turned out to be a vanagon.
