Thanks Ken, maybe I caught a break. I restarted the van after it got above freezing today and it doesn't appear to be leaking now. It was leaking out pretty good before, so I am wondering if the frozen coolant opened up gaps in the head gasket and after it warmed up, they went back into place?

I might be hearing a slight tapping sound, very faint, like when you are a little low on oil. It could just be my imagination now that I am listening for anything. Could anything get messed up from freezing, that would cause that sound. I am wondering if I should not try bringing the van up to normal operating temps and see if it seems o.k. now.

Thanks Dave
