Thanks. I'm an admin and resident greybeard on a regional VW/Audi site so I'll read and follow the site rules and keep it clean. I wish everyone on our site would do the same.

I work for highly demanding and extremely intelligent Germans and I'm trying to raise teenage boys so very little else gets me worked up. I'm too laid back to go caps lock on anyone regardless.

People have already been extremely helpful and welcoming I'm sure that will continue. I wish my wife was as welcoming to another project showing up in the driveway but you can't have everything....

Joe

Welcome, mate. The natives are generally pretty friendly here. Ben Tan <syncro@gmail.com> in, roughly speaking, San Francisco, and I in Providence RI are the moderators. If you have a problem or a question or complaint about procedures or about someone's behavior, please speak to either or both of us. We believe you're entitled to civility and also responsible to be civil here, and this is a family list covering at least four generations so we keep the language clean. There are some folks here who know quite a bit about air-cooled Vanagons, and of course there's much that's common to all Vanagons; so I hope we can help you out as needed and that you'll feel part of a community. Topics are technical and community/usage related to T3/Transporter/Vanagon; OT discussions allowed on Fridays. Coarseness is always out of bounds and we do not discuss politics or religion. The list is worldwide, but the great bulk of the members live in the US and Canada. Again, welcome.

Yours, David
