Do they possibly share a harness ground, being in the same general area of the vehicle? Just a newb question.

It seems sometimes that the axis of the cosmos is wired through the ignition switches of some later VW watercooleds so maybe Vanagon ig switches are the same way?

That's "What the HECK!" btw.

First the headlights go, then the wipers go belly up!! When ordering up a new headlight switch, I did - on advice from The List - order in a new ignition switch to have as a spare. Can anyone confirm for me that wiper problems are ignition switch related?? Am I going to immediately get to install that ignition switch too?
