What about:

T1=Splitty T2=Bay T3=Brick

T4/T5=Not appreciated enough to warrant any endearing nicknames. I would say Minivan, but they're built in Hanover (right?) so they're still part of the lineage and deserve some respect.

Routan =Minivan.

I think "Vanagon" is a dumb name. A cross between a Van and a Wagon? In the age of classic VW names like Rabbit, Scirocco, Jetta, and Quantum, this is the best they could come up with?

I like the term "Transporter." Descriptive, concise, and it looks cool on the hatch.
