agreed on what likely went on with the guys van and seeping of extra cold
rubber outer gaskets.

'canadian mix' ?  ..
stronger than 50/50 I imagine.  New term to me.

50-50 protects to 32 below  .
I've never had seeping water gaskets in cold temps on any of my wbrx
engines.
heard about it a lot though.
