hey ken I have found it pays to keep the lifters matched to their lobe, they tend to wear in a certain pattern seeing as the do rotate.mixing them can cause failure, push rods don't seem to matter as much. pistons and clylinders should also kept together as you stated . later mark dearing salem import service salem va
