That guy has a pretty amazingly bad reputation. He earned it somehow.

I have never dealt with him, but to be known the way he is....

I would definitely read the thread on thesamba. I would also price out all the components, even the cheapest new components you can purchase.... only too see that he has very little wiggle room to pay himself for hours then, usually this is the most expensive part of the engine. Thus, I know he's not using all new parts.
