I can't help you out with the specifics you need, but for what it's worth, GoWesty has a standing offer to help folks in your situation to establish and get fair market value for insurance settlements. I think in return, they want to obtain the vehicle for salvage, though I don't know through what mechanism, either. Person suffering the loss may have to purchase the salvage rights and transfer to GoWesty. But it might be a way to go. I don't know for sure that the option I mentioned is the way they work, either.
