Peter to answer your question (as no one seems interested in actually doing so), I believe 2.4 is the biggest you can really go. Gowesty makes a 2.5 (Or did?), but I recall hearing that they only sold the kits (Pistons, sleeves, etc) to go up to 2.4. At 2.4 I believe you need to modify the case a bit (simple) as well as get some other things changed out. There is a "Right" way to do it. Even buying a GW 2.2 or 2.3 block if you have an otherwise well running bus with great fuel injection and exhaust (Which is rare, but does happen), can be simpler and cheaper than an engine swap. Swaps aren't for everyone. And for those that they're not for, the larger displacement WBX seems to be a good engine.
