Hi all. In a nutshell, van basically ran fine, had great weather up until last few days, enjoyed my first time to BBTB, got to see the Baja, attended UnSuperBowl. Some visual highlights: arriving on a moonlit night 11 PM Craggy Wash. Moonshadows! ( I just sat there with the slider open, in awe, beer in hand) Outstanding sunsets at BBTB and Baja. All the people and vans at BBTB! Paddling with Dolphins, Whale spotting (thanks Mark!). Transition to all the green just before highway 1 CA coast. Other highlights: Mark and Ann Drillocks hospitality, (they truly are great hosts/people) junk yardin! learning more about Vanagon maintenance, "new" front seats and speedo with VSS capability! Baja, Mexico, Tacos, the people. Spent a day short of a month on the road, drove thousands of miles, made new memories and friends. :) pics: https://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/BBTB2011Baja2011# Neil.
