I know the people you were writing about. I do have the same pleasant
experience there every time I deal with them. June used to jog front of my
house and calls me "neighbor". I must say, I don't go there often, because
some of the prices one can not afford, but once in a while I have to. Yes,
hot chocholate is always there. She would give you a quarter and you get
one. But probably the best thing there is a big book shelf full of
interesting books that you can just take and keep. It's there for the folks
who have to wait sometimes hours to get their cars fixed though. In the
many years I kept two books I loved so much.
Fortunately, I get the same friendly service at the FLAP store and that
cheaper VW etc store too, but without the hot chocholate and free books.
Kind of Seattle area friendliness.

Great story!
I also had several good experiences with parts at Gossett VW in
Roswell, GA.
The salesfolks there, well, they are still mailing me invites to buy.
