Hey Jim, Fantastic! A great reference to keep around! Thanks, this is exactly what I need. I assume the wavy washers are to allow some flex to the exhaust, no?

Scott, I hear ya. I do agree part-swapping as a means of troubelshooting isn't effective at all. In this case, I've got exhaust blowing out of the side of the collector, so unless its in really great shape after see what's in there, I want to be prepared with a replacement.

In my past van, like this one, as a daily driver, my work is a visit to the local Army post to use one of their lifts or shop bays at the Auto Hobby shop. In this case, if I have more parts than I need, I'm more likely to get the job done in one trip and use any leftovers for spares/future work, or (less likely) return to the supplier.
