Subject:      Is Vanagon AC compressor compatible w/ B4 Passat TDI's and Audi
              200's?

Hi All,




I've got bad AC compressors in both my '89 Audi 200 Turbo Quattro and my '96
Passat TDI. I've got a couple of Vanagon compressors lying about and
wondered if they are interchangeable. I realize the pulleys need to be
changed for the TDI. Not sure about the Audi. It's buried underneath and not
easy to see what it looks like.


And while on the subject of Audi's, I need a nice leather seat for the
front. My leather sport seats are all torn up. I know some of you Vanagon
owners own Audi's too. I was going to pirate the engine from the 200 for my
Doka but decided to just keep the ABA in there. Now I'm giving the neglected
Audi some attention.
