My music plays through a VW Design cassette player that I pick-and- pulled out of an early 90s Jetta. Yesterday, as I was driving into the wind and wondering if I would ever go more than 50 mph again, I wanted some music to soothe the soul. My iPod is connected to one of those wired cassette adapters, but it kept reversing. Drove me crazy. I later figured out that the volume on the iPod was too low, so the head on the cassette player wasn't getting enough signal to be satisfied. I really like having a cassette player. I can run anything and everything through it, including tapes nature sounds I capture on my old broadcast-quality Marantz recorder. Mark and Peregrine fille |
