David: Having installed one of these myself, I can say it's a challenging job that requires exact measurements. If you trim the back of the Atwood at the bottom, you can get within a half-inch of the cabinet face. I do like the fact the circuitry is upfront, as well as plumbing. Wiring is not that bad either, and I can't really say that I miss the space in that hard to reach cabinet anyway. I put some duct tape on the side of the van when I cut the hole, but yes it's very easy to scratch paint. The unit has served me well. If I had the $$$, I would have probably gone to the propex, but a $500 savings was hard to pass up. Troy |
