My replacement of that hose used vaccuum hose, purchased by the foot from my FLAPS. I chose a thinner walled, slipperier type, rather than a straight rubber type, for ease of feeding the stuff thru the restricted spaces. Just make sure the ID of the new hose is the same as the old hose. To ease the issues involved in getting it thru some of the passages, I removed the old hose, but attached a piece of heavy string ( masons' twine, actually) to one end, so the string could be used to pull the new hose thru. And if the string and hose become separated, try using a shop-vac at one end of the passage, to draw the string thru. BTDT. Also, using a bit of electricians tape to hold the string on, and make the leading end on the hose seem pointier, can help.  Evan Mac Donald "...in the absence of facts, myth rushes in, the kudzu of history." -Stacy Schiff ________________________________ From: Gregg Carlen <gregg.carlen@GMAIL.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Tue, February 15, 2011 10:05:52 AM Subject: Rear windshield washer tube Does anyone know what size (diameter and length) the plastic tube is for the rear windshield washer spritzer? Looks like mine is brittle and broken in several places. Any secrets to fishing thing through the body panels? TIA, Gregg 90 Westy
