Off hand three things come to mind; cheapest to most expensive

, Temp 2 sensor, O2 sensor, and plugged cat or other exhaust restriction. When my cat was on its last legs some years ago. The exhaust pipe would drip a grey-ish milky looking liquid when parked. As long as I kept the revs up it would cripple me home, but lower rpms it wouldn't want to run. It(the cat) would be getting really hot too if that were the case. With it okay at Hwy speeds, that pretty much rules out ignition plugs or wires or fuel injectors, as that would be under substantial load.

The true gurus will chime in and BTW, do whatever Dennis Haynes says tp!!!
