Very late 50's-early 60's, the only aircraft landing regularly in Mindanao (R.P.) were WW2 era seaplanes. That was my regular summer vacatiob bus from Manila to the south. Now, you only see 747's and military aircraft a few miles from where the old seaplanes used to tie up. I must have been around 4-5 then. Cat or otherwise, I didn't know the difference. I almost always walked on with a barf bag, just in case.;-) Yeah, I miss those days. Now, back to your local programming.
