Just FYI, the cassette plug in dies not scratch the heads. The head sensor does not move, but stays stationary. A quality cassette adapter outperforms an FM transmitter any day (check the FM limits vs. Cassette specs). I have tested lots of them. I also have used a cassette adapter in my Beetle TDI for many years with no issues.
