Yep, that's the good stuff. Permatex tried killing the product once with their silicone sealants and all the "old guys" kept demanding it.
I keep a tube in my toolbox.

I'm a big fan of Permatex Hylomar (non-hardening), for the sealing and corrosion-resistant properties spelled out by Scott. I recently used up nearly a tube of it completing the H2O pump job on my WBX...so I pulled the trigger and bought a full carton of the stuff.
