I am going to remove all the a/c components ductwork and hoses from my van and I was wondering a few things: Will I need to buy new sun visors? if so does anyone have some grey ones? is there electrical running down the a/c tunnel? I currently use the a\c switch to turn on my rad fan to low speed when sitting in traffic for too long - So I want to keep this functionality. Does anyone have some panels for the back of the van - I want to remove the a/c side panels but there is no side panel underneath them. Does anyone want any a/c components. Free of course.

the wolfsburgs and the carats have the grey ductwork which is hard to come by.. the GL's ductwork is cream colored.

if i were you i would leave the front header a/c duct and remove the vents from it.. it becomes a nice overhead console.. gps or radar or cb in the center duct hole, and map pockets where the vents used to be.
