Why would you buy a Vanagon for any other reason than for the shear joy of owning one? I can't believe that anyone would consider buying one thinking that it is an investment that is going to appreciate in value and you're gonna strike it rich selling them. But then again who am I to say how to spend your hard earned $$. I know I have no intention of selling mine. I could never recoup the $$ I've spent on it and there's no way in hell I can even put a value on the labor of love I have vested in it. I'd have to say mine is pretty much priceless. But then "A fool and his money are soon parted" say some. I must be really really foolish.............but I don't care.
