Even if you are just thinking about it, join the group and read up on the archives. Once you join, you can check out the "Files" and there is a folder for FAQs about the conversion. I'm pretty sure all of your questions can be answered there. There is even a file for what you need to get from the donor car.

I'm in the process of putting a EJ22 engine from a '90 Legacy into my '87 Westy. I am very excited to get it running.
