Having driven up and down lots of kinda-sorta-roads in the Smokes and Cumberland mountains around Knoxville looking for camping spots they are all the mountain I need. But a large part of my family lives in deepest darkest Alaska and make fun of our little mountains around here.

Vanagon content: I can drive in comfort on the Interstate, then head into the wilderness and get to places in my Syncro that make Jeeps cringe (given that they can do things with ease and grace that I would not even think about trying) and then camp in the lap of luxury... i REALLY love my VW!
