I have a set of these that worked on my Vanagon factory wheel too. They do go on "Stiffly", but they do fit.I may have used a rubber hammer to tap them in place initially, but you don't have to worry about them flying off going down the highway! Those hubcaps came originally from the 68-79 VW busses and in good shape, are worth a decent price these days.
