Well, you have either a weak battery or poor connections. You should have your battery tested to see how well it holds a charge. Colder makes it harder for electrons to move and so requires a good battery and good connections to make this happen. All connections to and from the battery should be checked.

There is a possibility that the solenoid in your starter may be malfunctioning in colder weather and may need to be taken apart and lubed or replaced. You can check this by directly connecting the battery with a jumper wire to the solenoid to see how well it performs with power directly applied. All standard warnings apply here and I accept no responsibility for any injuries following this advice.....
