don't wait, the horn ring swap is an easy 10 min job and it doesn't really make more work doing it later.

Ben's site has good photographed procedure for swapping ign switch. Don't forget to have your key in, you'll see why.

The ign switch job is not as big a PITA as loosing wipers or having engine cut out :)
