Also odd that one of the common complaints I hear is " I don't want to take up any extra storage space with a heater". Yet the Atwood takes up 3x the space of a small Propex while only putting out 2500 more btus. The Propex can also be fitted in all sorts of cool spots where NO space will be lost. I bought one of the cheap Atwoods to compare, and really, there is no comparison. ;-) If I was the manufacturer, sure, I could sell the Propex way more competitively. But there are importation costs, dollar/pound exchange rates, and free warranty service; I've gotta eat and live somewhere too. Karl www.propexusa.com |
