(Hey Scott, thanks again for the parking brake handle you sold me. It is a huge improvement. I am sending this question to the list also.) The plastic grip on my replacement parking brake pops off if it is pulled on too hard in the wrong direction. I have cleaned all lubricant off of the metal handle and the grip but my teenager still manages to make it come off at inopportune moments (when I am not around to fix!). Any suggestions? I have thought of applying some kind of solvent on the inside of the grip that would slightly swell it and perhaps make it more sticky.
