if those tires are radials they should have an 'R' in the size designation.

185 R14 C's in front, and 185 R14 D's in the rear are an excellent combo for 14 inch wheels.

You can't rotate them front to rear if you run that combination .. but the handling gain is worth it to me. ( you can swap them side-to-side to spread wear....or even if you need to eventually, have them flopped on the rim ) that's what I run if I can ...D's in the rear C's in the front.
