Well, george, there would be that canola oil based stuff that David mentioned. For my part, I'm sticking with regular old motor oil, petroleum based, non-synthetic. I am wondering about that "not toxic to humans or other life" stuff on the beef grease based stuff's label, too. I suppose the molecules are derivatives of fatty acids and glycerol (well, I know they are), but we don't know _what_ they are, and of course, the stuff has run around in the innards of an internal combustion engine, where it would pick up all the various things left behind by previous use. We are warned to protect ourselves from used motor oil.
