Years ago I used to fool around with model airplanes powered by tiny engines. My fav was a "Fox 35" engine, and I used it for years. At the time. It was the best. The trick was to make one's own fuel for it. You could buy the fuel for it, but as a kid it was expensive. Then one day an old guy (to me back then) talked to me aobut making my own fuel. I learned. The mix was 3/4 Methanol Alcohol, 1/4 Castor Oil , and a few drops of Benzene. It worked great. That was my 2nd exposure to castor oil as a lubricant. Early on in my life as a kid I had learned from Gramma about castor oil as a lubricant. Later with the Fox 35 engine I learned about it's application to mechanical stuff. I can be refined into a very fine oil, but if it dries it can be very sticky. John John Rodgers Clayartist and Moldmaker 88'GL VW Bus Driver Chelsea, AL Http://www.moldhaus.com
