Thanks Alistair. I did do some additional checking. the 180 F maximum temperature rating is enough, as the control temperature for the waterboxer exceeds that, and certainly excursions occur under some conditions. Thermal expansion of length might be enough to be a problem, also, given the length of the pipes.
