I had to replace this &%$#@ little bulb on the very first Vanagon I bought years ago, until then I never knew Virginia would fail you on state safety inspection if it didn't work. I was told it is a "wheat germ bulb", and you have to have the little blue cover (should have come with the bulb). But $7.50? A bargain! Back in 2003, a local VW dealer charged me TWENTY dollars for that stinkin' little bulb. Oh, yeah, wait a minute, that's 'cause I live right outside Washington DC, and we pay at least double for everything around here! Jeff

That is not an LED. It is an incandescent bulb. These are the ones I have in stock that came from my local VW dealer.
