Actually, these are some good ideas though the time lapse is out of the question. Unfortunately I'll be filming it on "Video" mode of digitals cameras but I have more than 1 so more than 1 angle is a great idea.

I should finish the film by using the remaining paint to paint my wife's old Audi Assuan Brown then watch the humor that pursues when she discovers my delightful enhancement.

If my video camera had time lapse ability, I'd send it to ya to borrow!

Time lapse footage! :) I'm sure some DV cameras can be setup to do that. Continual footage of spraying shots may not be that interesting but personally, seeing time lapse of process from masking to last coat on a Vanagon would be really cool!

Some thoughts.

Interject footage of:

setup of gun etc. test results on cardboard of gun too close, too far, just right. Use Darth Vader guy or Wilford Brimley for VO. (Goldi Locks reference) side of Vanagon showing how far away gun is while spraying and distance maintained masking tape application

colour of other vehicles, house, dog after paint finished. <grin>

You would need Troy McClure for the VO, but not sure how you'd dig that up. (sorry)

Neil.
