I'll count next time...maybe it's not a full 10 seconds.

it's terrible wet, cold, and humid here right now.

never had to think about it much .. they flash at first ..they go off . No worries.

ok.. 87 Syncro, Subaru 2.2 engine. turn key on and count .. it's about 4 seconds. that van has been outside for a week sitting in damp and wet and cold conditions .. and inside the shop for two hours.

ok..the original van ...the 85 with new wbxr engine .. about 4 seconds on that one too. So perhaps no capacitors on their way out.
