Buddy of mine used to manage a British-style brass band here in Phoenix. When they were asked to perform of their concerts in Prescott, about a hundred miles north of here, a local high school and director volunteered a full set of marimbas, but without transportation. I volunteered to pick them up and deliver them to the concert venue. They were about ten feet long and apparently rather fragile, what with the tubes hanging down and all. It wasn't especially large or heavy (though it was large, heavy and awkward as all get out), but it does qualify as one of the strangest items I've carried in the Westy.
