I agree with Rob.
If it wasn't for Owsley and the Grateful Dead and Woodstock and The Who many
of us would never have been turned on to VW bugs and buses in the first
place. In some ways you could say that the sixties drug culture and the
Summer of Love were responsible for Volkswagen gaining a meaningful market
share in North America.
I don't have time to lay it all out for you young people but hippies and
Volkswagen buses are forever intertwined!
